For marketplaces and platforms

Pay your sellers for less.

Your sellers are small. Your platform isn't. Onboard sub-merchants, split every payment as it clears, and move money to hundreds of sellers on your schedule — with your platform's combined volume setting the rate instead of each seller's.

WHAT YOU GET

One account, every seller, a rate that reflects the whole platform.

Marketplaces get quoted like the small merchants on them. Aggregating volume is the point: your sellers are individually small, your platform is not.

Your whole platform's volume counts. Every sub-merchant's processing rolls up into one monthly total, so the tier is set by what the platform does — a rate no individual seller could reach on their own account.

Split at the moment of payment. Take your commission as an application fee on each transaction, with the seller's share and yours itemised on both sides, so nobody has to reconcile a lump sum at the end of the month.

Onboarding and KYC handled. Identity and bank verification, risk review, and underwriting for each sub-merchant, embedded in your own signup flow — sellers never leave your product to get approved.

Payouts on your schedule. Standard, next-day, or instant at 1%, chosen per payout rather than locked to the account, so you can offer fast payouts to the sellers who want them without paying for the ones who don't.

Compliance stays on our side. Cards are tokenized in the browser and never touch your servers, 3-D Secure steps up when risk scoring calls for it, and disputes are handled per sub-merchant at a $12 chargeback fee.

One API for the whole flow. Onboarding, payments, splits, payouts and reporting are the same predictable resources with the same signed webhooks — not four products bolted together with a spreadsheet in between.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Anywhere money passes through you.

If you take a payment from a buyer and owe most of it to somebody else, this is the shape your payments need — whatever your product calls those people.

01

Marketplaces

Buyers on one side, independent sellers on the other.

02

SaaS platforms

Software whose customers take payments of their own.

03

Bookings and services

Providers, studios, clinics, contractors.

04

Ticketing and events

Organisers paid out per event, not per month.

05

Franchises and multi-location

One brand, many entities, separate settlement and reporting for each without separate integrations.

OVER $5M / MONTH

At platform scale, interchange plus.

Marketplaces cross $5M a month sooner than most businesses do. Above it a flat percentage stops being the better deal, so you pay interchange and network assessments at cost plus a fixed Paydude margin, itemised on every statement — with the same situational fees and nothing new bolted on.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Marketplaces, explained plainly.

Does every seller need their own Paydude account?+

No. Sellers are onboarded as sub-merchants under your platform, which is what lets their processing count toward one combined monthly volume — and therefore toward one better rate for everybody on it.

Does my platform's combined volume really set the rate?+

Yes. Volume tiers are applied to the account's monthly card volume, and a platform's sub-merchant processing aggregates into that total. Cross a tier once and the rate is locked for six months.

How do splits work?+

You set your commission as an application fee on the payment, and it is taken at the moment the payment clears. Both the seller's share and your fee are itemised, so each side can reconcile its own numbers.

Who handles seller onboarding and KYC?+

We do, inside your flow. Identity and bank verification, risk review and underwriting run against each sub-merchant through the API, so approval happens without the seller leaving your product.

How fast can sellers be paid?+

Standard, next-day, or instant, and the choice is made per payout rather than fixed on the account. Instant payouts cost 1%; the other schedules carry no additional fee.

Who absorbs a chargeback on a seller's sale?+

You decide whether the cost sits with the platform or is passed to the sub-merchant it belongs to. Either way our chargeback fee is $12, and retrievals and reversals are $12 each — below the $15–$25 that is common.
