WHAT YOU GET

Billing that belongs to payments, not beside them.

Everything a software business bills for, in the same API that takes the payment — so there is one integration, one dashboard, and one rate.

Subscriptions add 0%. The billing engine is part of payments rather than a second product with its own percentage stacked on it. You pay the card rate on the transaction and that is the whole bill.

Any pricing your product needs. Fixed plans, per seat, usage-based, one-time add-ons, or any hybrid of them, on monthly, annual or custom intervals — with proration on every mid-cycle change handled for you.

Failed cards stop becoming churn. Smart retries on a schedule that follows issuer behaviour, automatic card updates when a customer's card is reissued, and dunning you control instead of silent involuntary cancellations.

Invoices and receipts included. Send an invoice, collect it on card or ACH at $0.75 a transaction, and hand finance a statement that reconciles — without a separate invoicing subscription to pay for.

An integration you finish today. A typed SDK, a REST API that behaves the way you already expect, drop-in card fields, and signed webhooks with idempotent writes so a retry can never double-charge a renewal.

Your coding agent can wire it up. An official MCP server and agent-readable docs, so Claude or Cursor can scaffold checkout and a subscription and test both against sandbox before you have opened an editor.

SUBSCRIPTION LIFECYCLE

The whole life of a plan.

Not just the first charge. Everything that happens to a subscription between signup and cancellation is part of the same API.

01

Trials

Free or paid trials, with or without a card up front.

02

Upgrades

Plan changes prorated to the day, in either direction.

03

Dunning

Retry schedules and reminders before a plan lapses.

04

Invoices

One-off or recurring, collected on card or ACH.

05

Pause and resume

Hold a subscription without losing its history, then pick it back up on the same billing anchor.

SAME PUBLISHED RATE

No subscription surcharge. Ever.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Subscriptions, explained plainly.

Does Paydude charge extra for subscriptions?+

No. Creating recurring subscriptions and sending invoices carries no additional Paydude fee — it is listed as +0% on our pricing page. You pay your card rate on each successful payment and nothing more.

What billing models can I run?+

Fixed recurring plans, per-seat pricing, usage-based charges, one-time purchases and add-ons, or any combination of them. Billing intervals can be monthly, annual, or a custom period, and mid-cycle plan changes are prorated automatically.

What happens when a customer's card fails?+

The payment is retried on a schedule that follows issuer behaviour, the card is updated automatically if the issuer has reissued it, and you control the dunning messages that go out before the subscription lapses.

Does subscription revenue count toward my volume tier?+

Yes. Every successful card payment through your Paydude account counts toward your monthly card volume, recurring or not. Cross a tier once and the better rate is locked for six months.

Can I move an existing subscription book to Paydude?+

Yes, and you should not have to ask customers to re-enter their cards to do it. Migrations are one of the things our team works on with you directly — see the custom integrations page for how that runs.

Can I test subscriptions before going live?+

Yes. The sandbox is open, needs no signup gate, and includes the SDKs, API tools and MCP server, so you can build and run a full billing cycle against it first.
