Create sandbox account

The first step is to create a sandbox account — that link registers a partner account (a platform onboarding merchants of its own). To take payments as a Paydude merchant, sign up at https://www.paydude.io/dashboard/signup instead; Paydude creates your account on the platform for you, and a sandbox merchant there is provisioned ready to charge. Your sandbox account will grant you access to the sandbox Dashboard, which will be used to manage your integration.

Generate API keys

API keys are required to access Paydude API. To generate API keys through the Dashboard:

1. Navigate to Developers and click the Create API Key button — this is the partner dashboard. Paydude merchants create their own keys at https://www.paydude.io/dashboard/keys instead; merchant accounts on the platform have no Developers section.
2. Name the API key
3. Select your API key type and scopes, if applicable
4. Click the Create button

API keys can also be generated using the API keysAPI endpoint.
